The Paddock at Whitehall Estate. Ticket Terms and Conditions.
This event is operated by The Motor Touring Company Ltd, trading as British Motor Touring (“the organiser”, “we”, “us”).
1. Event details
1.1 The Paddock at Whitehall Estate is a leisure event at Whitehall Estate, Winestead, East Yorkshire, HU12 0NL.
1.2 It’s scheduled for Sunday 16 May 2027. Times are:
public entry: 10:00 to 16:00
VIP early entry: from 9:30
show cars arrive: 8:00 to 9:45
1.3 Each ticket admits one person, except a show car pass, which admits one vehicle and two people (see section 6).
1.4 Children under 12 go free but must have a free under-12 ticket. Under-16s must be with an adult at all times.
2. Ticket types
2.1 Standard ticket: admits one person to the event for the day.
2.2 VIP ticket: admits one person to the event, plus:
access to the VIP marquee
afternoon tea with prosecco
early entry from 9:30
reserved seating at the main stage
2.3 Show car pass: admits one display vehicle, plus the driver and one passenger.
2.4 Show Car VIP upgrade: a per-person upgrade added to a show car pass. Each person attending with the vehicle who wants VIP needs their own upgrade. It includes everything in a VIP ticket, plus the show car extras described at the time of booking.
2.5 Paid attractions on the day, such as helicopter rides, sim racing, food, drinks and trade stands, aren’t included in any ticket unless stated.
3. Prices and booking fees
3.1 Ticket prices may rise at any time without notice. The price you pay is fixed when your order is completed.
3.2 If prices change after you buy, including any later offers, bundles or promotions, you’re not entitled to a refund of the difference or to the new terms.
3.3 A booking fee is added to each order. The booking fee is non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.
3.4 Tickets bought from anyone other than the organiser or our official ticket seller may be refused. Tickets must not be resold for more than face value.
4. Refunds, postponement and cancellation
4.1 Tickets are non-refundable, except where the event is cancelled in full by the organiser.
4.2 This is a leisure event on a specific date. It’s therefore exempt from the statutory 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
4.3 Postponement: if the event is postponed, all tickets stay valid for the rescheduled date. A postponement doesn’t entitle ticket holders to a refund. We’ll tell ticket holders the new date by email and through our official channels.
4.4 Cancellation: if the event is cancelled in full and not rescheduled, ticket holders will be refunded the face value of their tickets.
4.5 Weather: the event goes ahead in most weather. Bad weather doesn’t entitle ticket holders to a refund, unless we cancel the event in full.
5. Changes to the event
5.1 Venue: if Whitehall Estate becomes unavailable, we may move the event to a suitable alternative venue in the local area. Where that happens:
the date and times will stay the same where reasonably possible
the nature of the event will stay substantially the same
tickets will stay valid for the new venue
we’ll tell ticket holders by email and through our official channels
A change of venue alone isn’t a cancellation and doesn’t entitle ticket holders to a refund.
5.2 Line-up and layout: we may make reasonable changes to the event, including:
the timetable, layout and parades
the vehicles and clubs attending, and trade stands and catering
entertainment, including the headline special guest
The appearance of any named guest, act, club or vehicle isn’t guaranteed. Such changes don’t entitle ticket holders to a refund.
6. Show car passes
6.1 Every show car booking is subject to approval. When booking, you must give accurate details of your vehicle.
6.2 We decide where each vehicle is placed, including the front lawn display and the paddocks. If we can’t accept a vehicle, we’ll refund the show car pass or offer a suitable alternative.
6.3 A show car pass admits the vehicle plus the driver and one passenger. Anyone else arriving in the vehicle needs their own ticket.
6.4 Show cars must arrive between 8:00 and 9:45. We can’t guarantee entry after 9:45, and we may withdraw the display space without refund.
6.5 Show cars must stay in their allocated space until at least 15:00. They must only be moved when marshals confirm it’s safe.
6.6 Vehicles may only be driven on site at walking pace and as directed by marshals.
6.7 We may refuse entry to any vehicle that wasn’t booked, or that doesn’t match the booking details.
6.8 Vehicles are displayed at the owner’s own risk. Owners are responsible for having valid insurance for their vehicle.
6.9 Selection as a show car doesn’t give any right to attend future events.
7. Show Car VIP upgrades
7.1 A Show Car VIP upgrade is only valid with a show car pass for the same booking.
7.2 Front lawn places are subject to our approval of the vehicle. If we can’t offer a front lawn place, we’ll either:
place the vehicle in the paddocks, with all other VIP benefits still included, or
refund the upgrade.
7.3 Guaranteed parade places and stage slots depend on the timetable and safety on the day. A missed slot caused by late arrival, or by the vehicle not being ready, won’t be refunded.
8. VIP tickets
8.1 VIP benefits are only available to the named ticket holder, on showing their VIP pass or wristband.
8.2 Access to the VIP marquee may be managed to keep within its safe capacity.
8.3 Please tell us about dietary requirements by [date]. We’ll do our best to meet them but can’t guarantee this.
8.4 Alcohol is only served to people aged 18 or over. Challenge 25 applies, and staff may refuse service.
9. Admission and conduct
9.1 Please have your ticket ready to scan at the gate.
9.2 We may refuse admission to, or remove, anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate, without refund.
9.3 Re-entry is at our discretion.
10. Dogs and animals
10.1 Well-behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
10.2 We may refuse entry to, or remove, any animal that poses a risk to the safety or enjoyment of others.
10.3 Owners are responsible for their animals at all times. Dogs aren’t allowed in the VIP marquee, except assistance dogs.
11. Liability
11.1 Attendees enter the event at their own risk.
11.2 We accept no responsibility for loss, damage or theft of personal property or vehicles, except where caused by our proven negligence.
11.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Photography and media
12.1 Photography and filming will take place at the event. By attending, you agree that you may appear in promotional media produced by British Motor Touring and its partners.
12.2 By booking a show car pass, you agree that British Motor Touring and its partners may use images of your vehicle on their website and social media, before, during and after the event.
13. Agreement
By buying a ticket, you confirm that you’ve read and agree to these Ticket Terms and Conditions.
